A 1960’s East Sussex fairy-tale with a twist.

A magical story woven around an invisible great old oak tree which protects the elf village of Oakenveil.

Wolfric, the green eyed wood elf ventures out of his village with disastrous results. He loses the golden acorn key, his only means to return home to his elf family that includes the shy brownie Elmo, who insists on wearing his brown boots on the wrong feet. But help is at hand from gifted eleven-year-old Rosie, her Grandma Megan, and Avery, who aspires to being a great inventor but who is always blowing things up.

Then along comes a dusty toy doll, who is not what she seems, to add more mayhem and mischief, as the plot twists and turns.
